Kane is our 2yr old male black roughneck monitor. Completely handelable and full of personality. I rescued him a yr and a half ago, unfortunately when I got him he was battling scale rot. He lost toes and part of his tail from it, but doesn't seem to cause him any issue though. My kids and I handle him regularly, so he's very accustomed to it. He love just lounging in his water and exploring. We let him roam in my room, and he loves to explore. I don't want to let him go, he's become my favorite of our pets.
