The world over, men find it hard to talk openly about mental health, despite being at significantly higher risk for depression and suicide. More than 6 million men in the US have symptoms of depression, and more than 3 million have anxiety. People are often hesitant to admit they're struggling or ask for help because of cultural stigmas around mental health. Men are subject to this stigma. To break down the stigma surrounding depression and anxiety, it's vital to disrupt how men traditionally think about them. It's been a challenge for our society to deal with things like Covid-19, racial injustices, unemployment, and stressors of everyday life. You're invited to this workshop where we'll talk about topics that matter.
