We are a bassist/vocalist and guitarist looking to complete our band. Musically, we are a heavy rock band with metal and prog tendencies. A few influences include Zappa, Rush, Voivod, Iron Maiden, and King Crimson. We have spent the past 6 months writing original material and currently have a short set just under 30 minutes. You're welcome and encouraged to put your own mark on the songs. We are not looking for a "hired gun" session player but a dedicated band member that feels proud about what we have collectively created. Both of us are in our early forties, have full-time jobs, own professional gear, and don't party outside of a few social beers. We've played in bands our entire lives, and after a short hiatus, have reconnected with the joy of writing music. Although we're not looking to tour or make a living from music, we do take the band seriously. We practice once a week, would like to record, and play occasional gigs.
