Saw your reply. I knew I wasn't the only one this happens to! There's this thing called courtesy. It takes 30 seconds to email someone to tell them "thanks but you're not what we're looking for." More and more people think it's ok to ghost someone. I also forgot to mention that when I replied to his song list I also included a few dozen songs for consideration, to let him know I know plenty of songs in the genre his band plays. He never responded with "thanks, those are good" or "no thanks, those suck". Nothing. I've been looking on craigslist for a band to play with for over 10 years with no success. Been on a few auditions. They all said the right things but they all sucked, very little talent, should never leave the basement. And yet when you go out to bars most of the bands playing are total jokes. I'd be embarrassed if I were them. The bar for getting a gig is so low right now.
