🌱Self Care Saturday is a heart-centered all day Holistic Healing mini festival, and it is a charity event where we collect funds through ticketing for the Non profit 'Streets of Paradise' which is dedicated to housing our community and getting people off the streets, furnishing homes, and creating opportunity with an over 80% success rate! 🙌 🌱Self care movement began in 2019 and has grown so much over the years! Self Care movement is here to create immUNITY through the UNITY of the COMMUNITY! It is meant to be a mission of self help while we give back to others who have less resources. A safe place for healers and nature minded people to network and create community. A haven for artists, small local vendors, and holistic practitioners to come together for the purpose of creating community, healing and providing options and tools for us all to drop into. 🌱We will be exploring Alternative Medicine such as relaxation techniques, teachings from different schools of yoga such as Anusara and Kundalini, sound healing, guided meditation, Kirtan, Eastern philosophy, CACAO CEREMONY with medicine songs, paint fun, breath play, joyful mindful somatic movement, local vendors, giveaways, plant medicine, DRUM CIRCLE, word cypher, connection and the amazing feeling that we're doing it all while giving back! ◇It's been very well studied now how stress and emotions affect our immune system and other biological organ systems within the human body, something our ancestors innately knew. it has been our sacred work to integrate the teachings our ancestors left behind for us and weave it into this timeline we are living in for the purpose of true inner healing of our 'cellfs'. ◇We will be posting a schedule soon for the event with details and hours! it starts at 11:11 AM and goes until 9 PM, with back to back amazing and fun playshops, because we're here to play, not work! ◇Ticketing goes as follows: •"self care-all day" - $20 all day ticket •"self care-after 6" - $15 after 6 pm ticket •"self care-one and done" for just one playshop pass - $5 •if you wish to donate through us and cannot attend, just send it as "self care donation" or you can donate directly to Streets of Paradise there's a link on the self care movement facebook group! ◇If you wish to be involved as a presenter, volunteer, vendor, or attendee and have any questions please message [email protected] Can't wait to see you all 🙏🧘‍♀️ and an early HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that has made this possible for the community !
