Join Us! If you have noticed the following behaviors, we recommend attending this event to learn more about ways vision may be impacting or creating ADHD symptoms, even if your child has 20/20 vision! A few signs and symptoms to look for: •Attention is worse with near vision work like reading, but can focus on something more fun •Restless and irritable during reading and schoolwork •Headaches, rubs eyes, excessive blinking during near vision work •Hates to read, but enjoys being read to •Continues to have reading difficulties even after concentration improves on medication We invite you to attend this workshop and hear from developmental optometrist, Neil Renaud, OD, FAAO, FCOVD. He'll provide you with the information you need to determine if vision may be a factor in your child's behavior. Did You Know? •80% of ADD/ADHD symptoms mimic vision problem symptoms •Children with ADD/ADHD are 3 times more likely to suffer from a vision problem •Up to 50% of vision problems are missed in a standard eye exam •Vision problems can still exist up close, even with 20/20 vision far away Can't make the event? Have questions? Call or email us, we're happy to help!
