Rebel Tree Service is hiring for a ground hand and a possible Forman. Forman must have valid drivers license and transportation. Ground hand & Foreman-Duties include hauling brush and wood from the tree to the trailer, assisting the climber, using various equipment & tools, cleaning the job site. Prior experience working in the tree industry or a related field is a plus for this position. Ground hand & Foreman-Preparing for the workday with the required equipment & tools loaded on vehicles, be sure all items are secure for travel. Maintain a high level of quality in all work performed. Ability to follow directions and be safety conscious. Ability to complete labor-intensive work outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. Ability to navigate on uneven terrain, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. The tree groundsman’s duties include reporting to the foreman, assisting arborists, collecting and piling branches, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring hazard-free work areas. You should be able to work with a variety of crew members. Foreman-Manage work crews. Clear sites, streets, and grounds of woody and herbaceous materials, such as tree stumps and fallen trees and limbs. Foreman-Assemble crew and appoint jobs to crew members. Supervised and delegated tasks to crew members, consistently emphasizing safety compliance and attention to quality. Managed and diffused conflict among crew members through communication and if necessary through disciplinary action. Our company has been around 3 years. We're insured.
