Hey there, my name is Mitch and I'm looking to put a group together to perform some shows with here in Tucson, in Phoenix, and beyond. The name of this band is Alpha Pegasi. Although it was tough leaving the group of guys I was playing with in Colorado, I couldn't stand the weather/winter so here I am trying Tucson out. The bands I've been in back in New England and in Colorado did a good amount of rehearsing, performing, and collaborating with other groups and musicians and I really want to get back into doing so here. If you really want to start performing and we have some similar vibes, tastes, and interests, hit me up! Big influences include Led Zeppelin, Phish, Daft Punk, The Grateful Dead, Khruangbin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Leon Bridges, Talking Heads, a lot of classic rock, and a decent amount of "world" sounds outside the US. Although it's just me on the studio tracks, Alpha Pegasi as a live band is a much more collaborative effort. I do like writing out setlists for shows, but I do like hearing what others think which has resulted in some good changes to quite a few. Yeah I would like to primarily perform the songs I write and records, but I love hearing and having the diversity of having some other songs you may have in the bag too. I'd primarily be playing guitar and singing for live shows so a bassist, another guitarist, drummer, and ideally a keyboard player too has made up for a great sound for previous shows.
