Worcester Man Killed In Maine Shooting

WORCESTER, MA — A 20-year-old Worcester man died over the weekend after a shooting in Maine, according to police in that state. John Paquin was shot at around 4 p.m. Sunday near a home in Lewiston. He died later at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. At around 1:30 a.m. Monday, Maine state police arrested Mark John Sinclair, 28, at his home in Lewiston in connection to Paquin's shooting. After an autopsy confirmed Paquin died by homicide, Sinclair was charged with murder. Sinclair was ordered held without bail in the Androscoggin County Jail pending an arraignment.
