Are you a skilled carpenter who takes pride in your work? Would you enjoy traveling and working in new locations across the country? We are currently building a crew who will work and travel together to jobsites at various locations across the country. You’ll be assembling buildings that will be used to train firefighters. The training they receive saves lives and you would be a crucial part of their safety! Each job can run anywhere from 2 to 15 weeks on average. The minimum hourly rate will be $20/hour, but depending on location and size of job, the rate may be prevailing wage which is significantly higher. At the location, you’ll be provided with a place to stay (likely an AirBnb), transportation, and food. Our first job is getting ready to kick off, so don’t wait to apply! This first job will be Monday to Friday, so you will be home for the weekends. Desired Skills and Experience • Carpentry (2 years preferred) • Ability and experience using power tools and hand tools • Forklift experience (preferred) • Positive attitude Salary - $20/hour minimum Vacation time and paid time off will accrue.
