Hi Everyone, My name's Matt, I'm 32 years old. I'm a drummer and my buddy (guitarist) and I are looking to start a band. I’m looking for a bassist before anything but would like a singer as well. I'm open to all ideas just about. I've been in three different bands over the last ten years and have gigged around Dallas/Fort Worth/Denton and also had minor recording experience but that was some time ago. I'm looking to have fun with this project more than anything else, but I do have PLENTY of time to put in the effort and work and take this seriously. I'm looking to make more friends through this experience I'd REALLY prefer my band mates to be within my age group (25-35). I'm self taught and wouldn't say that I lean towards any particular genre more than another, but we both really like The Strokes lately and I'm REALLY trying to avoid country and metal type music.
