We are a manufacturing company looking to hire a Driver/Machine Shop Assistant. Position will be Part-Time (up to 30 hours) with the potential to become Full-Time in the future. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be at least 25 years of age • Valid California Driver’s License • Verifiable Clean driving record with at least 3 years driving experience • High School Diploma or equivalent Duties & Responsibilities: • Be able to work efficiently and follow all safety guidelines • Operate a flatbed stakebed (requires ‘Class C’ license only) • Operate a forklift (will train, experience preferred) • Assist in machine shop cleanliness and low end maintenance • Operates various machines as needed to include a drill press and band saw • Cut and stage raw material for machinists following a designated schedule • Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions • Ability to problem solve • Ability to work well with others • Positive teamwork • Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds and/or move (assisted) more than 100 pounds equipment Compensation: • Hourly wage will be based on experience If interested, please submit your resume to this posting.
