Hello! Farina Bakery needs help! We are seeking one part-time and one full-time morning delivery driver and bakery operations support staffer to join our team! We are a small bakery, located on SE Hawthorne Blvd in Portland. We specialize in French Macarons, cookies, and delicious pastries! The first position revolves around a delivery routes which is scheduled on Monday- Thurs or Friday, 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM. Candidates must be able to work approximately 12-15 hours weekly depending on candidate's desired schedule. The second position runs Friday - Monday or Saturday - Monday, 5:00 AM - 8 AM (total of 9-12 hours depending on candidate's desired schedule). All locations are in PDX. This position includes an early morning delivery driving shift. Absolute reliability is a must, as many local coffee shops will be relying on you to make sure they have pastries for their customers! Mileage reimbursement is in addition to hourly pay and is currently set at 62.5 cents per mile. Requirements for this position: THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE APPLICANT TO HAVE A CLEAN, RELIABLE CAR for deliveries Car must have room for multiple pastry boxes Non-smoking car is a must Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and proof of clean driving record required Must be able to work in the early hours, and have reliable transportation to early shifts Reliability and consistency are imperative! Personality is just as important as experience, as we're a small team! Must have excellent time management. The wholesale pastries must arrive on time! Must have high standards and take pride in your work Your shift will entail: Double checking packed pastries to invoices to ensure proper count Driving to multiple coffee shops to drop off pastries Making sure the right boxes go to the right establishments Returning empty bins to the bakery & washing them Please don't apply for this position if you have never worked an early shift before, or aren't available for these days.
