We are seeking: Inventory and Instrumentation Technician If you are looking for a new challenge and a different angle in veterinary medicine, we have the opportunity for you. We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to help us provide advanced level support to our Inventory, Surgical Instrumentation and Hospital Services team. This role will include ordering, receiving and organizing inventory, support in ordering, maintaining and preparing surgical instrumentation for procedures as well as pharmacy and controlled substances stocking. We hope to engage you from Wednesday to Saturday providing support to the Surgical Pack/Prep team on Wed/Thurs and Inventory/Pharmacy team support on Fri/Sat. Your role: ● Inventory support and ordering ● Receiving and properly distributing items ordered ● Help organize and improve the current inventory system for all departments ● Pack and sterilize surgical instruments and support the Sx team in fast turnaround of OR’s in between procedures ● Follow and maintain proper sterilization techniques ● Assist in Sx instrument ordering and maintenance ● Support the Pharmacy technician in ordering and receiving medications as well as regular stocking throughout the hospital ● Receive and log controlled substances as well as stock and cycle count Cubex at least once weekly ● Help maintain OSHA regulations throughout the hospital Who you are: ● Experience in inventory preferred ● A WA state licensed Veterinary Technician preferred ● Ability to think critically and multi-task in a fast-paced environment ● Great communication and organizational skills ● Must be able to lift and stay on feet for longer periods of time ● Able to work well alone and without direct supervision ● Self-motivated and excited to be part of the Hospital Services Team ● Team player, detail oriented, reliable, dependable, trustworthy Benefits: ● Medical, Dental and Vision ● Company paid short term and long term disability ● 401k ● Paid Time Off (accrual starts on your first day) ● Generous Shift Differentials and On-call Pay ● Competitive Wages ● Uniform Allowance ● Employee Pet Discounts ● Continuing Education Allowance and VetBloom membership ● Promoting wellness and self-care, including on-site veterinary social work team, employee assistance program (EAP), and opportunities for professional development Education: High school or equivalent Experience: Inventory: 1 year (Required) Veterinary: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: One location Work Remotely: No Please select the following link to apply!
