Church in NE Portland is looking for a building superintendent. The superintendent is responsible for a maintaining a clean, safe physical environment for the Church, its congregation, and the larger community that use its facilities. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Must be able to work two weekends a month. Compensation is $20-22/hour and includes full health insurance. Qualifications include - Proven ability to supervise a custodial staff - Experience with building heating/cooling, mechanical, and electrical system and repair - Custodial and grounds keeping experience - Experience working in a church setting - Ability to walk, lift, move heavy objects up to 50 pounds, and be on one's feet for much of the day. We will begin reviewing applications on August 1.
