Our 7 mo old Mini Husky is absolutely in love with our 2.5lb Pom but our Pom is so fragile that the husky is a bit rough during playtime. They snuggle, sleep together and love each other but the husky is a husky and it’s just not a good fit with the pom. Walnut is a 7 mo old Miniature Husky (Klee Kai and Shiba Inu mix). Black and white. 19lbs. He is potty trained and loves to play. Very smart and active. He is obedient and sits, stays, leave it, wait, and comes on command….mostly unless he sees a squirrel. We are working with commands off leash at local parks. Doesnt bark or isn’t aggressive with other dogs. Not possessive. He does need some continued training on not jumping on people in excitement, he understands down and will listen but will then jump up again. He’s a puppy! But he’s working on it. He as separation anxiety and doesn’t do well kenneled. We tried several times since he was 8wks old. But the kennel hasn’t been a place he desires. He will bring shoes to the couch but not chew on them. Thankfully hasn’t destroyed any shoes, just likes to move them around. He loves hiking and long walks. Haven’t taken him biking yet. He would be well suited for a place with a high fenced in yard or a big open property outside of the city. He is great in the car, no anxiety. Loves to snuggle. Hasn’t been around toddlers or babies but he plays with our 10yr old nephew. Loves toys and snacks. This has not been an easy decision. He will make a great companion and adventure buddy. Rehoming fee. He was purchased from a breeder down in Oregon. Not AKC certified as he is a mix breed.
