We’re Stray Muse, a mostly-acoustic band. We’re located in San Francisco, and play small clubs, events and house parties in the Bay Area. We're looking to fill out our band with a bass player who likes to play creatively. We're primarily focused on ballads from the folk and singer/songwriter tradition – eclectic, lyrical and introspective, with time and space for good musicianship. It’s a diverse mix, including some blues, folk and jazz, some traditional Americana and a few originals. Our music includes guitar, fiddle, and female soprano front voice – but we are fine with either an acoustic bassist or an electric bassist who can play well with amplified acoustic instruments.
