All businesses are required to follow the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990- including small businesses. The goal of this training class is to show small businesses without a dedicated full time ADA coordinator how to perform an internal self-evaluation, how to document those findings, and how long to keep records. Additionally, this 4-hour class will show you where to go for online help and resources- including IRS tax credits and deductions for any repairs, alterations or corrections you might need to make to come into compliance with your self evaluation. There is no "grandfather clause" for ADA compliance- but bona fide self-evaluation and correction plans are permitted.
