Please READ entire post before replying. Hi, this little guy is Charlie!! 8 lbs - Tiny but mighty!! Neutered, 3 1/2 years Terrier Mix, possibly Yorkshire Terrier Mixed with Chihuahua. CHORKIE. High energy little dog that needs a backyard to run and play fetch. He is a very smart, alert and loyal companion. Always ready to go on leashed walks and adventures. Crate trained and mostly potty trained. Knows basic commands: Sit, Down, Stay, Roll Over, Shake, Leave It, Go to Bed. Has had all his puppy shots, is up to date on rabies vaccine, and microchipped. Not able to keep him in my apartment, so he’s been staying at elderly parents’ home, where he has a backyard, but is not getting the one-on-one attention he deserves. IMPORTANT: Charlie does not like to be picked up unless he knows and trusts you, or will discomfort growl/react defensively. He would do best with an EXPERIENCED, CONFIDENT, ASSERTIVE LEADER. He does well at the vet if I leave the room. He’ll come out happy in the arms of the vet after getting his shots lol. They have a calm energy that puts him at ease. - He is a young and insecure small dog that is constantly seeking love, affection, but most of all understanding of his fearful, distrusting nature. He is full of life and just wants to be with you 24/7. - Needs positive reinforcement and an assertive leader that can build trust with him. - All he wants to do is play nonstop and go on adventures. - Charlie also loves being around dogs of all sizes. Not in a rush. I just want to find Charlie his forever home. No rehoming fee, but will need to formally/legally transfer ownership with the county and his microchip registration.
