NYS Employees Abusing Disability Accommodations to Work From Home

This is to let the public know what is happening at New York State agencies including the Div. of Homes & Community Renewal. When NYS shutdown because of the pandemic a lot of employees got to work from home. Some of them worked but the rest did nothing while they sat at home getting paid. Now because a lot of them don't want to go back to work full-time, they're claimed they have disabilities and need accommodations made for them to work from home even though there's nothing wrong with them that keeps them from coming to the office. They're collecting fully salaries and sleeping on the job, or they're going on vacation and not charging their time. This has been reported to the attorney general's office and the inspector general's office but they're not taking any action.... This is the real deal folks.... It's sad to see how tax payer dollars are wasted on these useless people!
