Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, this position is responsible for the collection and testing of daily production samples to industry standards. Apply today!For More Information Please Call Rachel @ 303-710-9608Key AccountabilitiesThe primary areas of responsibility include:Quality ControlRecordkeepingWhat You Will Be DoingPerform testing procedures, collect production samples for testing and analyze resultsTesting can occur at job sites or batch plants, must be mobile and flexiblePrepare test report with concrete physical properties and gradation results of the production samples, compare to appropriate specifications, and submit results for reviewInteract with customers to assure satisfaction with product and service within scope of project specificationsPerform material and equipment inspections, check and calibrate for accurate measurements, perform stockpile inspectionsMaintain proper documentation of test results, site activities, deficiencies, and reporting requirementsReport product deficiencies to supervisors or delegate for immediate actionEnter test data into data management systemFollow proper company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations including OSHA safety and quality standardsReport safety hazards and create safety first cultureParticipate in safety meetingsOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredACI Certification Preferred2+ years of related experienceSkillsAbility to maintain proper attendance while working irregular hours, including scheduled SaturdaysValid Driver’s License and ability to pass MVRAbility to manage emotions in stressful or frustrating situationsHigh attention to detail and ability to prioritize day to day tasksKnowledge of product technical specifications, basic computer proficiency and strong math skills with ability to use 10-key calculatorCommitment to safety, customer service and teamworkTravel Requirement75% locallyPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions including hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow conditions.Employee frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, utilizes manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, color discernment and requires active hearing/listening.Employee occasionally crawls, kneels, pushes and pulls.Employee is exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes and aggregate materials.Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats.
