Hardscape Laborer / Stone Mason H2O-Matic is looking to add a member to our team. All applicants must be willing able to work full days outside in varying weather conditions. Looking to hire motivated, experienced, and reliable crew members, Crew members must have 1 year experience working full time for a landscape/hardscape company. Must know have basic knowledge of hand tools and power equipment. Please be aware that we do no do any maintenance, crew members will be installing new patios and outdoor kitchens/bars/ living areas. Valid drivers license is required. Ability to drive a 2500 Truck with a trailer in tow is also required. Benefits: · Paid Vacation · Paid Holidays · Paid Lunch and Breaks · Semi-Annual Bonuses · Opportunities for advancement · Paid Overtime Qualified candidates will possess the following: · Demonstrated positive approach towards customer service and co-workers · Must have a high level of motivation, enthusiasm, be a self-starter and perform daily under pressure · Ability to work without direct supervision for extended periods of time · Basic knowledge of hand and power tools · Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds throughout work day · Professional hardscape experience is required. · Irrigation or landscape experience is highly desired. · Must have valid driver's license · Must have experience and be comfortable with safely pulling a trailer in tow Position type: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with variable hours, beginning at 7:30am Summary: The primary purpose of the Hardscape Crew Member is to perform patio installation tasks in a safe manner under the supervision of a Crew Leader, in accordance with H2O-Matic’s high quality and customer service standards Responsibilities: · Perform patio installations in a timely manner. · Understand and comply with company safety policies and procedures at all times · Properly and safely operate hand tools and equipment, including chainsaws, edgers, trimmers, blowers, Skid Steers, Ditch Witch, etc… · Report any damaged or missing material · Perform basic level preventative maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, blades, etc. to ensure safe operation · Interact with other crew members, supervisors and company personnel, and customers in a professional and courteous manner · Work all assigned hours · Adhere to appropriate dress and conduct expectations Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be subjected to strenuous work in adverse weather conditions, as well as exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, noise, etc.. Lifting, pulling and pushing materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Travel: Crew members travel from main operations building to job sites in company truck and back on a daily basis Work 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Friday Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
