Job description Full Time Maintenance Technician...Starting Hourly Rate at $15-24!!...Higher compensation for added electrical, carpentry, or handman work Cypress Gulf is seeking a passionate, driven, detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide standard maintenance, safety, and hands on assistance to our office, shop, yard, and construction inventory area. Mowing Weeding Cleaning floors of shop (oil, dirt, debris) Inventory of pipe and organization Inventory of yard material and organization Must be able to operate a forklift Running parts The ideal candidate must have the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated independent facility maintenance experience in the past. The primary responsibility of this position is the overall repair and upkeep of our facilities. You will perform all aspects maintenance and assist and support other team members in meeting maintenance goals. You would be responsible for yard cleanliness, exterior building maintenance, trash, running parts to job sites, handyman work, keeping construction inventory and parts organized, mowing, weeds, etc. This position generally works Monday through Friday 8-5, with availability for emergency repairs and special assignments as needed. Activities and duties may vary depending upon building and office needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to: Complete work order requests in support of facility operations. Perform preventive maintenance and oversee construction parts and inventory Delivery of routine maintenance (Housekeeping, Maintenance, mowing, weeding, handyman, Etc.). Other Skills & Reasoning Ability: Requires continuous use of gross motor skills, near/far vision, color definition, hearing, and speech. Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting to 50 pounds, carrying to 25 pounds, eye/hand coordination, stepping up and down, climbing up to 20 feet from the floor. Use of fine motor skills, work in difficult and confined spaces, pushes, pulls, or manual dexterity. Must maintain a clear MVR as the position includes the use of a company vehicle. Must pass pre-employment background check.
