WORK WITH MEK ENTERPRISES, INC. – WE ARE GROWING! Our Event Services Teams are the public face of MEK Enterprises, trusted to setup event equipment and materials for a professional athletics team. This is PART TIME and, we do the setups only for home games, see schedule below. Our team’s responsibilities include but not limited to; loading and unloading supplies from assigned event vehicles and on-site containers, setting up of tents/canopies, tables, chairs, A-frames, banners, portable barricades and other miscellaneous event items as needed prior to every event. At breakdown, we tear down event supplies and load back in event vehicle or container. Team to always engage with the client and public in a courteous professional manner and perform all other responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager as assigned. Job Requirements: MUST be dependable MUST be meticulous MUST have reliable transportation to drive to and from site Loading and unloading of event vehicles or container with equipment Setup tables, canopies, chairs, A-frames, trash cans and other materials as needed Professionalism, customer service and positive energy to collaborate with a team Able to lift and move equipment efficiently Remaining customer service oriented and always keeping a cheerful outlook Must be able to lift heavy items (10 to 50lbs.) Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies Ability to bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods to perform normal job functions Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions Important Criteria: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation Must speak fluent English May be required to work on weekends and holidays. May need to be "on-call" and last-minute jobs are possible. Hours and schedule may vary as the company continuously accepts scheduling from client. Have flexibility, this is a split shift and we setup events for the home games, schedule hours vary weekly.
