The Company specializes in weatherization energy efficiency programs throughout California. Our customer base consists of local utility companies and State agencies.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The HVAC Technician will complete thorough assessments of qualified gas appliances in a customer’s home and will provide the delivery and installation of eligible repairs and/or replacements. There is no selling to the customers and the Technician does not need to collect money from the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· 1-2 years’ experience required in residential home heating installation and water heater repairs
· Provide an accurate estimate of materials needed to complete jobs
· Ensure all work is performed with high quality and within program compliance
· Attention to detail and follow all safety regulations
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
· Must pass utility mandated drug/criminal background check
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
· EPA Certification
· Good driving record
· NATE Certification a plus
QUALIFIACTIONS
· Bilingual a plus
· Ability to complete required Program paperwork
· Ability to effectivity communicate with people
· Plumbing experience preferred
