Chef! shiba inu mix Needs a Hero! Scheduled for euthanasia in shelter on 7/20 5pm Needs an Immediate Foster No time to spare! Apply to Foster Chef! Looks like Chef is another July 4th victim! After days of sky is falling noises he may have ran off to find somewhere quiet. Sadly, this could cost him his life! He was found as a stray on the 7/6! and appeared to like his finder, he allowed his finder to scan him for a chip and load him on the truck for his ride to the shelter! I don't have much time left, I need a committed foster by 7/20! CALL OR TEXT . Chef 2yr old #shibainu mix 43lbs During Chefs intake he had a soft body and allowed attention, but since being left in his kennel he has beenhiding in the corner and shaking. Chef has left his kennel 2x since his arrival on 7/6. Both times it took some coaxing. When he sees the leash he whines and backs away. He finally came forward when handler knelt down outside his kennel and sweet talked him. He mostly kept to himself in the yard, but did get brave enough to go check out the handler, sniffing shoes and legs. He wasn't too interested in treats but a squeaky toy got his attention he was sniffing and touching with nose. During his 2nd outing he even allowed some brief pets on his hind end. No dog evaluations have been done so it is unknown how I would do with other dogs. If you have other pets I will need to be kept separate so I can adjust to my new surroundings then a slow and safe intro. Chef deserves a chance, he deserves to live! Chef may thrive in a patient adult home where he could feel safe, have predictable routine and plenty of TLC !
