Bassist and vocalist and sort of guitarist looking for drums, other guitars, maybe other vocals for [IDK, some sick shit] - probably death metal unless it's not. Been quiet since the pandemic started, and I've got the itch. My experience is mostly punk and metal; most recently I've played in Herugrim, Darkwor, Xatatax, Ekbombs, and live guitar for Blessed Offal. I'm looking to meet folks to collaborate and chill with and maybe do some recording and play some shows before the world ends (or, errr, while the world's ending). I'd be down for doing something super raw and immediate and live / in the room, or something pretentious and arty and hard to execute (keyboards? costumes?), all depends on what folks are up for. It'd be sweet to put something down on tape RIGHT NOW but I'm always into going down a rabbit hole if there's a goal in mind. I'm set up to record with Reaper and audio interface, decent mics, yadda yadda. I'm into a ton of stuff, this is just the stuff that makes me want to do more like it, off the top of my head: Emperor, Einherjer, Motorhead, Dystopia, Spazz, Charles Bronson, Bolt Thrower, Dismember, (old) In Flames, (old) Cryptopsy, Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, Cro-Mags, S.O.D., DS 13, 9 Shocks Terror, Amebix, Oi Polloi, Priest, Mercyful Fate, Falkenbach, Summoning, old Casio keyboard era Demon Burger, Borknagar, Arcturus, Old Man's Child, Mortiis, Type O Negative (I promise I am not cringe) (a minumum of cringe), Gorevent, Analepsy, Empyrium, boring neofolk stuff (but not politically LOL) (also tons of Irish folk stuff and P-funk and old prog and) I'm just straight up a lefty anarchist who hates me a bully, so you should be cool with folks of other backgrounds/orientations/the works (just don't be a garbage person, or at least the RIGHT KIND of garbage person, and we'll get along fine). 420 friendly, not stressed if you don't partake. Located between Worcester and Providence, got a car and not afraid to drive it. Should go without saying, but I've got gear and a job, can hold down space rent if need be.
