Bricks Boatworks, Inc is looking for a hardworking and loyal individual to join our Marine Division and assist with odds and ends jobs around the shop. We are looking for someone who understands and can accept that the schedule and responsibilities for the day can change abruptly as our industry is heavily weather dependent. Job duties will vary with season. Must have valid Drivers License.
Job Duties:
-Shrink wrapping boats in the fall.
-Picking up and dropping off boats to customer's property.
-Getting boats to and from storage facilities.
-Detailing boats
-Assist with disassembling and assembling boats for body shop repairs.
-Pick up parts from suppliers as needed.
-Assist with spring run ups of boats.
-Shrink wrap removal in the spring upon customer request.
Qualifications:
-Familiar with marine industry.
-Able to safely trailer a boat and back them into confined areas.
-Experience in removing boats and parking them on boat lifts, driving them across the lake and also putting them onto trailers.
-Strong attention to detail
-Knowledge of basic hand tools
-Dependable
-Positive attitude
-Strong time management skills
-Ability to work well with others
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Spring and Fall seasons will require Saturday hours (typically between 6-8 weeks): 9:00AM - 3:00 PM
Mandatory overtime during weekday hours during spring and fall as well.
Terms of employment agreement:
-You will be paid on a direct deposit basis, bi-weekly
-At will employment
-After 90 days you can enroll in health insurance and dental insurance
-After 90 days you can enroll in a Simple IRA with a 3% match from Bricks Boatworks.
