I work at a retirement home and I have the sweetest lady and other patients who are so lonely and board. A dog would be a big trip hazard with poor balance and taking care of them. There social security is low and so I would buy and maintain everything and don't have a ton of money to throw at the project. She, the specific lady who is getting one first has had an extremely rough life but is amazing. This will increase their quality of life and overall happiness. Apparently the old days when parakeets were like $20 bucks they are now $40 a piece. This is not what I was expecting. Does anyone or anyone know anybody who
