Description Looking for a Summa Vinyl Cut Operator to join our team located in Houston, Texas. We specialize in 3M branded print programs, which we Screen Print, Digital Print and Digitally cut. We are growing and looking to expand our current Vinyl Cut Operators. Position Description: The Summa Vinyl Cut Operator can be an exciting, fast paced career where you can go as far as your ambitions will take you. We are a company filled with high energy people with a willingness to put the customer’s needs first. General Responsibilities: Operate large format hybrid and roll to roll printing equipment. Operate large format laminating roll to roll equipment. Operate Summa vinyl cutter or equivalent. Calibrate equipment and color match. Set up and monitor print jobs. Set up workflows. Provide assistance to other operators. Record accurately all labor time and material used. Qualifications: 5 years of experience operating a Summa Roll Cutter or Vinyl Potter Preferred Proficient in Adobe Illustrator Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and work over waist high table. Effective communication skills both oral and written. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma Must pass required drug screen, background check and physical. Minimum of 3-year related experience. Ability to work well in a structured work setting and adhere to a daily schedule including the commitment to excellent attendance with proven reliability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen, facilitate communication between production personnel while work is in process. Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and supervisors. Ability to maintain an orderly workflow and prioritize assignments. Minimum of 1-year Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Physical Demands: Good Manual Dexterity. Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires handling materials weighing fifty (50) pounds while, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching while lifting.
