Join UF/IFAS Residential Horticulture Program in Osceola County for an in-person class on Monday, November 7th at 6:00 pm. Trees Osceola – Fruit Trees for your garden. Growing fruit trees in Central Florida can be a little challenging and frustrating because our Subtropical climate. During the class we are going to be talking about trees that you can add to your garden and enjoy harvesting fruits. We are going to be talking about selecting site and correct trees and planting. After attending the class, you would take home a fruit tree. Examples are: Mango. Loquat, Avocado, Atemoya, Black Sapote , Canister, Dragon fruit , Persimmon, or other. We cannot quarantee/or verify the type of tree you will receive prior to class. They will be good quality. Workshop is presented by UF/IFAS Extension Osceola County. We collect demographic information to ensure equitable access to Extension programs by all of our audiences. Each individual's participation is optional. Cancellation Policy: Programs, workshops, and events are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not registered. Cancellations will be posted on Eventbrite and an email will be sent to registrants.
