What is a sound bath? ​If you've never heard of a sound bath, you are in for a treat. Using the sounds of singing bowls, rain sticks, rattles and more, the body and mind are able to relax in a unique way that opens the door for mental clarity, increased well being and even physical elements of healing. Participants often report feelings of euphoria, tingly wonderfulness and deep relaxation. Energy clearing and reiki will take you deeper into the experience. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese stress reduction technique that directs calming and healing energy to the energy centers in the body, also known as meridians or chakras. Reiki combined with sound healing and other energetic modalities will help you de-stress and bring your body and mind into a state of homeostasis. What can you expect? Organic tea, a zen vibe and cool people. You'll also get $15 in LADDER credit for every ticket purchased. Practically, you'll lay down, get cozy and zone out for about an hour as a musician and an energy healer work their magic in the room. There's nothing to do, but be. Bring whatever you need to feel comfortable laying on the floor for about an hour. We recommend a sweater, yoga mat and a blanket (or 2), but an eye pillow or bolster would also be dreamy. **IMPORTANT NOTE: Please plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45.
