Alice Brown, Boston Harbor Now’s “Ferry Faerie” (and chief of planning and policy) will be leading a tour that includes a boat ride from downtown Boston to Winthrop, a 12-mile bike ride around Deer Island and the Belle Isle Marsh as well as the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway, ice cream from Helados Juli's, and a train ride back to downtown Boston. Enjoy beautiful views of the harbor and a chance to explore new places. Start: Meet at 5:20pm in front of the New England Aquarium IMAX theater (boat departs from Central Wharf at 5:35) End: Will return to downtown Boston via the Blue Line between Maverick and Aquarium What’s included: A Ferry ride to WinthropIce cream at Helados Juli'sGuided bike ride around Deer Island, Winthrop, and East BostonA Train ride back to North StationWhat you should bring: A bike!
