BBQ and Bluegrass Benefit for the Seniors

We kick off our annual benefit with Cornhole at 11am 32 Teams will compete to win $600 in cash prizes. Each cornhole team registration will allow each team member to get in the event for free. From 1-7pm we will have live bluegrass music on the stage on our back patio! Our ticket selection:- General Admission: We encourage our guests to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on and will be able to order food/beverages directly at our counter - Picnic tables will allow guests to order/pay directly at the table and can seat up to 6 guests. - Covered patio and umbrella tables will allow guests to be waited on, by a server, throughout their dining experience Our bands:The Matchsellers are Andrew Morris and Julie Bates of Kansas City, KS. Their exciting, gritty, and often hilarious stage show has been developed over years of touring across the US and Europe. The two met in 2012 while working as American Cultural Ambassadors in Germany via the Fulbright Program and began exploring traditional American music from abroad. Since then, they have collected influences from various regional styles of American folk music including Bluegrass, Old-Time Fiddle, Hambone, Fiddlesticks, Cajun, Gospel and others. Their work has delved into subjects as academic as “German-American Musical Exchange” and as wild as “Science Fiction Bluegrass”. While a focus on humor and absurdity permeates their show, they are dedicated interpreters of tradition whose excellent musicianship, songwriting and taste are never overshadowed. Whether performing as a duo or with a 4-piece bluegrass outfit, The Matchsellers are true trailblazers of Midwestern Folk and Bluegrass. Our charity:Senior Foundation of Eudora (SFE) provides opportunities, programs, and experiences that enrich the quality of life for seniors in the Eudora community. SFE is dedicated to advocate for Eudora Seniors in three primary areas: Transportation, Communication & Affordable Senior Housing. 100% of the cornhole tournament registration, table reservations and the 50% portion of their 50/50 raffle will go directly to this amazing 501c3. In addition, Barbwire will be donating 15% of their sales to them as well!
