Carol Busby was born in California and has lived in Nevada, Oregon and Belize. She now resides in Sandown, NH. She has a BA in English from UC Berkeley and a Master's from University of Nevada. After she obtained her law degree from University of Oregon, she acted as a member of the National Writer's Union's Grievance and Contract Division as well as representing private clients in trademark and copyright matters. But her first love has also been writing. Sailing Against the Tide is her first published book. She lives on beautiful Angle Pond with her husband Rick and cats Betsy and Stuart.
