Hi CF Fremont family! We're excited to host our very first in-house/member only competition. This will be a chance for you to show off your hard work, have some fun, and party afterwards to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of CF Fremont under the leadership of Joewel and Liz! This will be a same sex partner competition: Male/Male, Female/Female. There will be an RX and a Scaled division. Please see movement standards below to decide which one you will need to sign up for. There will be no advanced gymnastics at this competition as we would like as many of you to participate as possible. This is meant to be FUN - I promise that you will still have to work hard but will certainly be able to enjoy the rest of the day. We are allocating space for 24 total teams, regardless of division. So find your partners now! There will be prizes awarded at the end :) - including your team name etched on the inaugural Ikala Jug that will remain at the gym at all times! Ticket price is total cost to the TEAM (not individual) Workouts: There will be 3 scored workouts for the day with the top male and female team of each division advancing to the final (4th) workout of the day to go HEAD to HEAD! Workouts will be released a few days prior to the event - trust in your fitness! Movements: Synchronized partner dumbbell snatch, RX 40/25lbs, Scaled 30/15lbs Wall balls, RX 20/14lbs, Scaled 14/10lbs Burpees Rowing Assault Bike Running Situps Clean and Jerk, no minimum weight requirement Final event for top 2 teams will require RX rope climbs, Scaled ring rows, Dball Timing: Preliminary timing is as follows - 7:00am - 7:45am Check-in and registration + time to warmup 7:45am - 8:00am Welcome announcements 8:15am - 9:30am Workout #1 9:45am - 10:21am Workout #2 10:40am - 11:30am Workout #3 11:40am - 12:05pm Finale/Showdown 12:20pm - 12:30pm Prize Ceremony 12:30pm - we shut down PARTY TIME! Logistics: - There will be a warm-up area specifically for athletes and a separate spectator/hang out area - There will be a "corral" where you will be asked to wait 5 minutes prior to your heat time so we can move efficiently - Teams will have the same judge the entirety of the competition
