Basic Trail Building is a two-day course led by professional trail builders, S&S Trail Services, that will be conducted in Mineola, TX. The basic course will educate students on all apsects of trail building, including: design concepts, GPS mapping, corridor flagging, and construction.
One low registration fee covers instruction, coffee and lunch on Saturday, and building materials. Overnight lodging, transportation and other meals not included.
Meet Saturday morning at the Addie McFarland Community Center, 708 S. Stone St in Mineola, for the classroom portion. After lunch, the course will reconvene outside at the Greer Hill Mountain Bike trails at the Mineola Nature Preserve. Additional details will be provided upon registration.
