A fine sewing workroom based in the Mission District of San Francisco is seeking an organized, detail oriented, and efficient Inventory Specialist to assist in the day to day operations About our Company: We have been executing impeccable design details for nearly 40 years and set the standard for quality workrooms in San Francisco. We specialize in the production of fine soft furnishings including window coverings (curtains and shades), pillows, and bedding. We work with interior designers to fabricate custom items for their clients. About the Position: The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, confident, and have a strong work ethic! This position is full time, but would consider part time. We are looking for someone tech- savvy and sharp with the internal drive and disciplined work ethic to handle a diverse set of responsibilities. It is essential that the candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills. The candidate must to be able to prioritize workroom needs quickly, execute them with accuracy, and do it all efficiently. Requirements: • Positive attitude is a must • Must be able to lift 35 Lbs. • Computer skills are a definite must with Google Docs and Google Drive • Shipping and Receiving Experience preferred • Experience with managing inventory preferred Inventory Specialist Duties: Manage and Document Inventory • Receive fabric rolls, trims, pillow inserts, hardware etc. • Maintain and update detailed log of all received fabrics and inventory including fabrics, welt cords, linings etc. • Maintain log of all hardware received and check contents to match orders • Pillow insert inventory- Create log, label inserts, maintain storage • Plan ahead and let office know when to order supplies Prepare Finished Work for installation • Maintain and organize finished work storage area • Organize and prepare all items for each installation daily • Pack and ship items (curtains, shades, bedding) for out of town installations • Pickup and deliver items as needed We look forward to hearing from you!
