Hi friends, I have a Rosy Boa female fully grown snake that I need to re-home. She is about 10 years old based on what previous owner told me when I adopted her about 1.5 yrs ago. She is a very slow-moving snake and eats a frozen 18g mouse (medium adult mouse) once a week. She responds well to handling and explores curiously. I need to re-home her because of my lease.
- Care is very easy, can handle her daily or not for weeks. Tank bedding should be replaced once 4-6 weeks, I will supply enough for your first replacement when you pick up. (Bedding was replaced about 2 weeks ago.)
- Non-venomous. She has bitten me once only, when I went to grab her from above (bad idea with snakes in general!) I got a metal Snake Hook to scoop her up from the floor of her cage and she hasn't bitten me since. (Hook included.)
- She is currently in a luxuriously large enclosure for her size - 48x18x12 inches. She is like 24" long. You can have the enclosure with her, I would appreciate a tip for the tank because it cost me almost $200. It comes with a top and clips so that she can't push the lid off -- if you want to use your own enclosure, make sure it clasps shut or has sliding top. In any case you can also have heat lamp, heat pad, and extra bulbs for lamp.
- Charming grey and rose gold coloration. Desert snake that is one of the slow-moving species, but apparently snake-phobes are still scared of her.
