Description

This summer program will prepare students with entry-level skills used in the automated manufacturing environment. You will develop skills in setting up and operating machine tools to produce precision parts and develop the required skills in preparation for automated machining. The training includes the following: • 4 weeks of hands-on training • Evening classes Tuesday/Thursday 5-8 pm • All training material & project materials • Students will design and tool a project Skill Sets Gained: • Implement appropriate techniques in machining. • Operate tools and equipment safely. • Perform precision processes such as drilling and measuring. • Read and interpret blueprints.
