Join us for our first "Wine Education" series! It's summertime in the South, which means it's hot and humid! We need wines that are ice cold and have lip-smacking, thirst-quenching acidity. Save those chewy, tannic red wines for sweater weather. In this educational wine pairing class, we will be sampling 6 different wines that pair perfectly with your menu for the evening of cold soups, salads, seafood, and those wonderful SC garden tomatoes! This time of year you need wines that will cool you from the inside out! The menu for the evening will be Gazpacho, Tomato & Goat Cheese Bruschetta, Dinner Salad w/ Grilled Chicken Breast.
Texture and flavor in both wine and food react differently to each other, and finding the right combination of these elements will make your entire dining experience more enjoyable! Tina Witham is The Cook's Station's, new wine educator, bringing with her over twenty years of experience in the wine industry. You will enjoy 6 Summer wines in this class along with some crisp food pairings (listed above) and a wealth of knowledge.
The cost for this class is $70/per person. If you are signing up with more than 5 in your party please give us a call as we may be able to tailor more to your individual needs with a private class. No refunds or credits will be given if canceled within 72 hours of the event.
