Join Guest Guide Joe Rashid on this interactive experience of E. Warren Corridor which connects three east side neighborhoods, MorningSide, East English Village and Cornerstone Village. Visit community design spaces, murals and historic buildings plus hear from small business owners and get more information about future projects coming to the far east side. Guest Guide Profile: Born and raised in Detroit, Joe has spent his career dedicated to achieving equitable community development via authentic networking, social entrepreneurship, and real estate development. Passionate about creating community-based solutions to address community-identified needs, Joe founded of E. Warren Development Corp, to facilitate the equitable development of the E. Warren Corridor and adjacent neighborhoods, focusing on community engagement, development facilitation, business incubation, and neighborhood based site control. Total Walking Distance = ~1.5 mile Weather Policy: Tours will occur indefinitely, rain or shine, unless a severe weather warning is issued by the national weather service on the date of the tour for the time of the tour. Weather related cancellation or ticket transfer requests will not be approved unless submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the event start time. If a severe weather warning or event causes the tour to be cancelled, City Institute will offer to transfer participant tickets to another date or provide a refund.
