Nursery/Grower Seeking Help

Operating since 2016, the nursery is located in the mountains behind Ojai about 15 minutes from town. I grow vegetables, natives, ornamentals, herbal/medicinal and many specialty rare exotic plant varieties including carnivorous plants and orchids. I am looking to fill two part time positions: a nursery and a farmers market position. Nursery labor: 15$/hr Part time. Hours fluctuate seasonally 6-18hrs/week Tasks include: Plant care: Watering, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, cleaning, pest control, etc Plant propagation: Seeding, cloning, transplanting, mixing soil, etc Should be able to lift 75lbs, be able to handle a wheelbarrow. Should be able to work well independently. Gardening experience a plus but not required, just a love for plants and gardening and a willingness to learn. Farmers market position: Part time. 6-18 hours per week fluctuating seasonally. 15$ per hour during training, 20$ per hour +commission once trained. Training period depends on knowledge level. Tasks include: Loading and unloading market van. Driving plants to and from market locations. Setting up tents and tables, organizing sales display, speaking to customers. Also includes some time working at the nursery to familiarize yourself with the plants. For this position you should be able to lift up to 50lbs, feel comfortable driving and parking large van, have proper car insurance, feel comfortable speaking to people about plants and gardening. The specifics of each plant can be learned during training process but should have basic horticultural knowledge. Horticulture students and plant hobbyists/enthusiasts welcome for this position!
