Construction Manager will have an analytical mind, sense of urgency, and exceptional organizational skills. The Construction Manager will ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. Their role is to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish, organize and oversee construction projects/procedures, and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner meeting all local governmental guidelines An excellent Construction Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities: -Oversee the companies construction activities to ensure projects are done on time and on budget -Oversee the company’s construction projects to ensure workman like and quality construction from start to finish -Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project, ensuring plans are ready for construction -Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements, obtaining multiple bids as needed -Problem-solving to address delays, emergencies or other issues -Deal with any and all job site issues that arise -Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities as needed -Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations -Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met -Acquire equipment and material and monitor inventory to timely handle inadequacies -Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities -Organize and present invoices for payment -Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed -Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports -Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues -OSHA compliance for all job sites -Ensure compliance for all job sites with all local authorities including DCRA, DDOE, DDOT -Coordination with the marketing team to ensure properties are ready for market from the start of the project -Communicate effectively with and hold regular meetings with all team members to ensure projects are completed properly -Manage the handling and assigning of daily tasks within the company -Address customer concerns pre and post-sale -Assist in activities that help move Hyperfast Development projects forward Requirements: -Proven experience as construction project manager -Excellent organization -In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles -Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards -Good knowledge of MS Office -Outstanding communication and negotiation skills -Excellent organizational and time-management skills -A team player with leadership abilities -Strong understanding of business goals and project goals -Strong understanding of customer service goals -Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same -Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate work *For serious inquiries, please submit resumes*
