TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office will host LifeSouth Community Blood Centers for a blood drive at the county courthouse annex on Wednesday, July 20. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alerts The blood drive will start at 10 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. Organizers said all donors will receive a $10 e-gift card and a free cholesterol screening. LifeSouth says donors must be 17 years of age or older and weigh 110 pounds or more. Those who are 16 years old can donate with a parent's permission. For more information, call (888) 795-2707.
