As a member of our wharf team, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience at our wharf for the fishermen while upholding company standards. A Driver/Dock Hand has the following primary responsibilities: • Operate a 26 ft delivery truck on delivery days • Drive to local wharfs to pick up lobster • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries Assist with Dock Hand duties as needed: • Receive and rotate supplies • Receive and inventory live lobster • Must be able to use basic technology for inventory with training • Basic knowledge of building/repair skills a plus • Basic knowledge of operating a forklift a plus • Maritime knowledge a plus • Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone • Long periods of standing/ walking • Must have a positive attitude and be able to take direction and work without constant supervision The ideal candidate: • Has a valid driver’s license • Able to obtain a DOT medical card • Has the ability to operate a 26 ft delivery truck • Will bring a positive attitude to work every day • Has the ability to adapt, multitask and take feedback in a positive manner • Sees experience in a fast-paced environment as a plus • Can effectively work together in a small team with others • Works well with minimal supervision • Is dependable and has reliable transportation Benefits: • Starting pay of $25/hr. • Paid vacation time • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Closed on seven major holidays • Opportunity to participate in the company’s ownership program • Growth potential with a start-up
