I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming response. At this time the position has been filled and I have several back up people on the list just in case it doesn't work out. Need someone good and fast available now with vehicle capable of hauling 4 - 4' X 8' sheets of 1/2" gypsum board from Home Depot on Renaissance to site. I'll pay you an additional $25 for picking up needed materials. Job includes hanging approximately 6 to 8 sheets of ceiling and boxing in a corner passage way. Job was started by someone lacking the skills to get it done properly so 1 or 2 sheets already put up need to be repositioned and cut out for overhead electrical box that got covered over. The room will need to be taped and textured (orange peel or anything light will do as long as it looks decent. I have a full sheet that will need to be cut out and replaced due to water damage and texture matched as closely as possible. Old time sponge or hairy brush smear? From the 50's. Will be a full sheet to blend with old. Need a passage area finished off and ready to trim out. If you are not going to show up or do a decent job don't waste my time. I don't speak or understand much Spanish but if you understand enough English to get by and do good work we can figure it out. Job pays cash on completion. 2 guys 2 and a half 3 days tops. I need to have at least the large room completed and ready to paint by Monday afternoon. I'm paying for materials so just need someone to provide labor and whatever tools you'll need to get the job done.
