Local non-profit seeking a food scraps collection staff member. This job requires the collection of food scraps from restaurants and schools in Santa Fe. Ability to safely move 64 gallon rolling carts to a flatbed truck with liftgate. Safe operation of liftgate and skill with driving a full size flatbed truck. Ability to tip these carts at our composting facility. When full, these carts can weigh 250lbs. You will be working with our Lead staff member. He will initially be driving the liftgate truck and providing training. This is a two-person job; ability to work well with others a must.
Requirements:
Safe driving record
Passing a background check (for access to public school property)...past minor offenses will not eliminate you from consideration.
Availability on Monday and Thursday from as early as 7:30am to as late as 4pm, as well as Wednesday 7:30-12. This is flexible, availability on two of those days/times is required.
Part time. Compensation $17/hr
(approximately 20hrs/week) with potential for additional hours.
