Process server-Great work for drivers

Jobs

Southfield MI

Description

My company prides itself with paying our process server contractors better than our competition. We expect quality work and only work with people who take pride in their jobs. This is an amazing job for people who work for a rideshare, some other delivery company or a process server for another company. Requirements: 1) Must be 18 years of age to be able to serve process. We don't mind training right out of high school. This a great gig while going through college or figuring out your next step. Its a great retirement job as well. We welcome all types. 2) Must have a reliable vehicle with valid drivers license & Car insurance. 80% of this job is driving. If you hate driving this is not the gig for you. 3) Background as a process server or legal field is preferred but by no means required. 3) High School degree preferred but not required. 4) Must be self motivated, driven, professional, and extremely organized. You will be running your own business so you must have it together. 5) Ability to calmly and effectively deal with people who might be agitated. If you have a thin skin this gig is not for you. 6) You must have a smart phone, internet service, computer & a printer with scanning abilities. 7) Must consent to a criminal background check. A criminal record does not eliminate you depending on the offense. Any violent offence, fraud or driving under the influence in the last 10 years would eliminate you for being hired. 8) We do not drug test but any driving under the influence incident would result in a ending of our contract. 9) Must be able to cover at least Wayne, Macomb, Oakland,Livingston, and Washtenaw counties. Here are some of the reasons you will like the job. - Flexible hours ( You are given a job and you have 10 days to make 3 attempts at service. The first 2 attempts must be made within 7 days.) You must make one day attempt, one night attempt and one weekend attempt. Outside of this the schedule is up to you. Rush jobs is a different matter but those pay very well and you will love them. -Good pay. This can very a lot depending on our work volume but most people average $25-$50 an hour. You are an independent contractor so keep track of your expenses for possible tax write off's. The more coverage area you take the more potential there is to make money. -Minimum micromanagement. As long as you are doing your job we have no need to micro manage you. We are all adults and if I need to micromanage you then this is the wrong job. Your your own boss and I am your client paying your for your service. -Diverse company. We are all about hiring people from all walks of life as long as your dress professionally. There is much more to go over if you are interested please email your resume with a cover letter explaining why this would be the right fit for you. If you have questions those are welcome two but only if you send along your resume. Look forward to speaking
