We are a small business that is seeking a Facility Attendant/Driver. This position is part-time. During the summer, the schedule will be 10+ hours/week, and up to 20 hours/week during the school-year. We are hoping to find a handy, friendly person who is comfortable working a flexible schedule. Experience working with youth is a plus. The job duties include: Performing custodial duties, including, but not limited to, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors; cleaning furniture, woodwork, fixtures, equipment, supplies, doors, windows, walls, walkways, driveways, and facility grounds; disposing of trash. Provides operational support for events, classes, and programs, including, but not limited to, set-up and tear-down of tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies. Inspects facilities and equipment, reports issues in a timely manner to appropriate staff; performs minor facility maintenance. Assists with opening, closing, and securing facilities in compliance with policies and procedures. Participates in required training sessions, including safety drills and other emergency procedures; performs all work in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures. Pick up and drop off youth at designated locations. Ensure children stay in their seat at all times. Follow traffic laws and state and federal transit regulations. Follow safety procedures to make sure they and all youth are safe. Carefully navigate roads and watch for ice, debris, or slippery spots. Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
